Process 1: Design a lapel pin artwork.

With the popularity of computer technology, computer drafts have replaced previous manual drafts. Commonly used production tools for lapel pin artwork design are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw. If you want to generate 3D badge renderings, you need software such as 3D Max. Regarding the color system, PANTONE SOLID COATED is usually used because the PANTONE color system can better match colors and reduce the possibility of chromatic aberration.

Process 2: Making a lapel pin mold.

The computer-designed manuscript is imported into the engraving machine program to edit the tool path for mold engraving. In the engraving process, pay attention to the thickness of the knife pattern. After engraving, check whether the mold has missing points. Finally, the mold is heat treated to enhance the hardness and durability of the mold.

Process 3: Suppression.

The mold then is mounted on a press table, and different material such as a copper piece or a piece of iron is pressed with the pattern.

Process 4: Punching.

Using the die cutter prepared in advance, the product is punched down by the punch according to its shape.

Process 5: Polishing.

The product punched out by the die is placed in a polishing machine to remove the punched burrs and improve the smoothness of the product.

Process 6: Accessories   welding.

Weld the back of the product with standard accessories or customer-requested accessories.

Process 7: Plating and coloring.

According to customer's request, the lapel pin can be   silver plated, nickel plated, plated with red copper, etc., and then the lapel pin is colored according to the customer's requirements, finished with high temperature and baked to enhance the color fastness. Through this step, a complete lapel pin that meets the customer's requirements is produced.

Process 8: Packing as per customer's requirements.

Packaging is generally divided into ordinary packaging and high-grade packaging such as brocade, etc., which is decied by customer requirements.
